Welcome to Stacy, Minnesota

The City of Stacy in Chisago County offers small-town living as well as bustling commerce and a rich history. The population for Stacy (per the 2020 census) is 1,703. The city derives its name from Dr. Stacy B. Collin, one of the area’s earliest settlers who lived here in 1875.  The year 2023 marked the 100 year anniversary of Stacy incorporating and separating from Lent Township. The City and Township have been in the process of an orderly annexation, which will be effective December 29, 2023, with the two entities merging together again. A five-member city council meets at 7:00 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month at Lent Town Hall. The city's Planning Commission meets at 7:00 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month also at Lent Town Hall.  City departments include administration, finance, public works, and liquor operations.  The city also has an Economic Development Authority.
